I have stock lighting in my biocube 14. 24w 10000k and a 24w Actinic. How can I get a crisper, bluer look in my tank while still giving soft corals enough light to grow??

I know I can do an LED retro, which I plan to do in a few months. I'm just looking for something relatively inexpensive in the mean time cause I think my lighting isn't blue enough!!!

Thanks:)

Add a couple Blue LED's or change out your bulbs for different type.

go get a Ecoxotic Panorama stunner strip. Its an LED strip that is designed to help give that extra pop and shimmer in your water. It will not help premote coral growth, but will give you the look I think your looking for and there pretty cheap ($50)

I have a 50/50 in my 12g nano & it's good enough for mushrooms & polyps. Depends on what kind of corals you want or already have.

Just get any 24 watt PCs that have the right pin setup to plug into your Biocube. They don't have to be any specific brand

Understood, however I still can't seem to find anything over 12k...

Does anyone know of a place with 14k or higher?

Thanks
