So i need an ID on behalf of someone else from another forum (ultimate reef)
the guy took a video of it and it does this really weird thing where it switches it's head really fast. here's link to the thread where the video is "http://www.ultimatereef.net/forums/showthread.php?t=492585"also someone else said they have one and managed to get a good picture of one (pic below)
no one seems to know what it is tho.

from the pic it doesn't look like it has a shell but if you look closely it looks like there is a small opening on it's back where there possibly is a shell underneath. so it could be like a cowrie snail because they cover their shell with their fleshy mantle thingy if you know what i mean.

It's an Oxynoe species, probably Oxynoe viridis. It's a harmless algae eater.

I was actually identifying the pic link, which is Oxynoe viridis. I went to your thread, and it looks like yours is a different animal, although it is an algae eater also (another sacoglossan). A clear picture would confirm it, but I think the one in your thread is an Elysia species, if what I'm seeing is a partially-expanded parapodium. If it's a shell rather than a parapodium, it's probably a Julia species instead, if it isn't just another Oxynoe variant:

I bet that head jerk thing is to make other stuff think its a macro jerking in the current.
