I have a SWC 150, running on a 40 breeder. and I recently changed my sock, and there is nothing but microbubbles coming out into my tank. You can see the bubbles in the sump ... I think thi is because of the chemicals that were on the new sock... I took that sock out and I'm using one of my other ones .. If it is because of the chemicals , I heard it could be up to a week of nothing but bubbles ... Should I run my skimmer ? Or wait ? Is there a way to beat this process?

New socks are known to do this..It will go away in time.

socks don't produce bubbles. I know it is convenient to blame the sock.
if anything, sock actually eliminates bubbles generated by the drain.
