I got a piece of LR from a friend that came with a couple of polyps.

How fast do these multiply?

There's no standard rate. It depends on what kind of zoa it is, what your lighting is like, how much water flow, water quality, etc... Generally, fast growing zoas can sprout new polyps daily. The slower ones can take weeks.

Everything he said. As a general rule of thumb though, it seems the prettier the specimen the longer it takes to multiply. Look at all the "designer" zoas. If they multiplied at a respectable rate, they wouldn't be going for $50-$80 a head! :lolspin:
