I have heater in chamber 1, inTank media rack in chamber 2, and mj-900 in chamber 3.

I know a skimmer isn't necessary, but do you think it'd be a beneficial addition?

What are my skimmer options since my chambers probably won't be able to house it?

I've seen people put bigger skimmers underneath in there cabinet/stand. Should I spend time/money doing this?

Thank you so much in advance.

I could not fit a nano skimmer into the chambers on our JBJ 29 gallon nano, so we added an overflow to a sump -- there we have a big skimmer, top off system, heater and dosers. I think the added gallons help stabilize the small tank and we have many more options with equipment hidden in the cabinet.

What do I need to do that? Do you have any links or references I could use?
Thanks

If you have a intank media rack why not put some chaeto in it with a refugium light in the window!

We've got a Tunze 9002 in our BC 29 HQI. Because of how the light attaches, the skimmer won't fit in the rear chambers. I've got it in the corner of the tank and modified an inTank skimmer cup to fit with almost no tank modification. It skims like a fiend and is only barely noticeable in the tank.

We use an Eshopps Overflow Box PF800, but did not use the black box part -- the tank already has the overflow.

The box has a bulkhead that we attached a drain hose, that leads to a sump with a hang on filter sock holder. We use a Rio 1400 as a return pump and just send the water back into the chamber closest to the return pumps.
