MH250 Question

Looking to buy two 250 Icecap MH ballasts. Currently I am using Sunburst 12k bulbs. Will these ballasts require "tuning" or will the "all others" ballast work with no trouble? Also, are the new ballast coming out with the restart feature or is it still an upgrade? Any help would be appreciated

If you're using the bulbs, meaning they're broken in, you'll have no problems. I would consider the upgraded re-starters ($10.00 per ballast) if you plan on staying with that bulb as initially they can be hard to start. The bulb has had mixed results and I know BlueLine claims it's not compatible with them but I've also heard lots of people say they avoided the need for actinics by using them. If the bulb isn't the best it's all the more reason to use an IceCap as nothing could be easier on the bulb.
