Identification help

What is this and is it safe? I've just recently noticed them in my tank. I currently have a fowlr tank. Thanks for any help!

Not sure what that is...but you have aptasia anenomes in behind it....get rid of them !

It's not Apstasia. I've had it before and had to fight the hell out of it. That picture is zoomed a ton, it's just a blur, I just went over there with a light to double check it.

Looks like an asterina starfish IMO. Most species are harmless but they multiply rapidly! I have hundreds in my softie tank all working away happily to keep my glass clean.
