mushroom slime

I got some striped green mushrooms and when I did my water change they started letting out this slime

What is it? and is it bad? I have only had them for two days.

They slime up when they are unhappy. Most likely a change in chemistry during the water change upset them. Did the salinity, alk or ph change dramatically?

ya the salinity was a little low. I need to add more salt

'technically' you need to add more saltWATER, dont' add saltmix directly to your system.
