Every week after water changes I pull out my test kits and start measuring water and counting drops. I give it its 5 minutes to fully color and then...... "BABE!!! I NEED YOUR HELP!". If you think you guys have a hard time comparing the color of the vials to the color cards, try being COLOR BLIND.
For months I thought my PH was at 7.8. I tried to used buffers to bring it up and nothing worked. Well turns out the test was actually reading 8.3 and I just couldnt tell the difference. As soon as I can afford to pick up some Hanna Checkers I will, but till then my wife will have to do all the testing.
