What Kind of snail is this.

I have noticed this snail in my tank and didn't put it in. It came from the rock. Does anyone know what kind of snail this is.

Should it be removed if I see it again.

Collonista. Harmless nocturnal grazer. They multiply quite well too.

So, there is no worries about this little guy getting out of control. If so what will snack on it.

that little guy is a good sign your tank is maturing like it should be.....

You'll probably see a small boom in their population, then they'll self-regulate according to available food.
