overflow noise

The box on the outside part of my overflow fills up & the drains & fills up & then drains b/c of bubble in drain tube. What can I do to alleviate the noise?

you need a valve on the overflow. Close it little by little til it stops that. Still will be noisier than say a bean system, but it's quieter and will stop the gurgling.
