I was curious if Curt was showing off anything new at MACNA. I really wanted to go, but just too much going on.

I talked to him yesterday. Nothing new since the Apex Jr.

I mentioned to him that we need some new, powerful apps for the iPad and iPhone. While he did not make any announcement, I got the impression this is in the works.

I'm very curious to hear his comments on the probes and meters competition will soon release. Ammonia, Nitrates...

If Neptune had probes that could be left in the water all the time, were reliable, and fell somewhere around the price of a conductivity probe or cheaper they would sell. All other products I've seen in the past were more expensive and were more like handheld units that if left in the water all the time would quickly lose calibration and be ineffective.

You thinking of the Seneye? They still haven't licked the durability problems... You need to replace the sensor elements (called "slides") every month.

Basically the Iphone App , Aquanotes has been redesigned. A native Ipad App is also in the works, A little nicer looking with some mildly upgraded graphing, still in development though with no release date... Curt was fairly tight lipped as usual.
Only other update I noticed was the Breakout Box was black to match up with the Apex line and had nice screw connections for your bare wire contacts.

Is that one created by Neptune? I've seen it but I thought it was made by a private individual?

Bellis, yes - the current Android app is a third-party one. Just making sure you are aware that there is something out there for you.

Will the updated app be free like the current one? Is there plans to release a auto top off kit of some sort? I like the one i saw on BRS that has the optic sensor from tunze but you obviously don't need the controller that comes with it.
