I said the fish would go in at 10 weeks, ick should be gone. I am dying here to put them in. Should i do it or do I need a support team to intervene?

They say 6-8 weeks is plenty of time for crypto to hatch and die without a host.
But,it's your blood pressure not mine.lol

Okay, guys and gals, I guess whenever I get that urge to put them in, I will go out to the corner of the shed with a potato peeler and peel some skin off to take my mind away from it.

Thanks for the idea with the LEDs sponger0, but Ive already been there through and through, though, havnt jumped yet, but still, I guess I could work on raising my pump out of the water as it is heating my tank too much.

I just went thru it myself. Well, a few months ago. It is really difficult. I waited it out an extra week. If ya put em in a lil early, you could see ur fish "dot" up right away and that would suck. Just imagine how PO'd you'd be if they got it right after you put em back in.

Are you running the tank warm?

I am on week 6 of fallow and like to think this will give me a margin of security @ week 8.

All your fish being in QT should make it easier.

I have ick in my tank, well I am sure anyways as I have seen it on my now dead CBB, but never seen it on any of my other fish.

My solution was to get rid of the Surgeonfish except for one. My Moorish Idol is king of the tank, and not a sign of Ich in over a year. Ive seen algae strains grow in my tank even after never adding anything for over a year. Never seeing the Algae strain before in 4 years. Where did it come from? I think nature is incredibly resilient and Ich can find a way back in despite our efforts of Quarantine etc. I know it flies in the face of logic, but maybe we don't know everything. Sorry to be a wet diaper, but just to be safe, I would try to reducing the stress factor. I applaud your discipline, but I would get out some bullies if you got them just to be sure.

Well, i made it, a full 10 weeks, wow. Powder, kole, lawn blenny and bi color are in the sump awaiting for the second batch of anthiest twins, 3 tiiiiiiiiiny chromis n 4 gobys to go through thier QT bath. After 14 days of soaking in ye good ol sulphate bath, I will up everyone into the main tank all in one boost and let them duke it out, lol. Okay, maybe the anthiests for the first day or two them pop everyone else in at once.
