Looks like you may have a few pairs in a divided tank. What other pairs do you have?

After all light went out, I move the flower pot into the fry tank then replace the parent tank with a new flower pot. There is an air stone inside the pot to create a fanning movement for the egg or fungus took over. I make a mistake for not create enough movement. Lesson learned.

My snowflake nothing compare to your rare GSM babies. Nice article by the way:

Looks like you may have a few pairs in a divided tank. What other pairs do you have?

2 years old Picasso clownfish pair.
2 years old Snowflake with 8 months old B&W.
4+ years tomato clown pair.

It does not seem like they will lay egg any time soon.

I lost a few fry last night and this morning.

In Day 2, fry look much stronger and healthier. I guess survive of the fitness.
Out of curiosity, why fry search and pick which rotifer to eat when there are a dense of them. Apparently, they are choosing the smaller rotifer rather than the larger one. I look at the larger one under a 20x magnifying glass and it is the same as the smaller.
Time to vacuum the bottom and water change. My DIY vacuum apparatus:

The airline hose is from Home Depot because it is thicker and rigid then the one that is in the pet store. It is around the same price but will last longer. The balloon stick can be bought at Party City. A 10 mL syringe is to siphon out the water instead of me sucking on it which I am not in favor of it.
This setup work well for me; since it does not drain much water and rigid balloon stick allow me for easy control.

Once the white fill in all the clear area, it is possible this one will be mostly white.

Most of the clownfish in the fry tank are very orange than some. Hopefuly they stay like that to maturity.

Up Close regular and snowflake. These two are kinda bosses.

Rotifers were given to me by brother. It was enough for me to start my own culture when I first saw my clownfish laying egg.

how do i get a pair? they look great. what a cool experience. I used to have peppermint shrimp hatch eggs every few months but they would get sucked up in the skimmer. but cool to watch. they would almost always hatch them on the new moon. do the clowns follow a similar cycle?

Next you can start breeding koi! 30,000 eggs per spawn :) If you want practice hatching baby brine, that is the way to go!

Seriously nice job for your first time with these clowns. I love the photos of the rotifer tank... you had a TON of rotifers in there! Hint on the egg fungus - you will probably get better results if you use an anti-fungal in your hatch water if you go that route.

WOW! Great Pic. What anti-fungal do you suggest for clownfish?
