Have had a new dussumieri for about a week and a half. He just in the last day or two started biting at some kenya tree softies, pretty consistently in a grazing fashion. Anybody heard of this before? He's otherwise eating like a pig and seems good.

Large acanthurus tangs are eating machines. Although I've never heard reports of nipping, it would not surprise me one bit if they nipped at corals.

You have this fish in a 125 gallon reef? Do you know how large they get????

Never updated my info. Current tank is 250 gal. Fish is just a juvenile.

I had a dussumeri, the thing was a coral nipper. Got rid of it pretty quickly
