Before I buy it, can someone answer this. I have a 60 gallon acrylic. The water level is around 1.5 inch from the top. Will the waves over flow the tank?

thanks.

Doubtful. They are adjustable so they can be turned down.

What are your goals? If this is going to be used by itself I would probably go with a single mp40. The mp10 is also limited to 3/8 thick material.

you do not have to use the wave function, and if you do, like said above, it can be adjusted to not do that.

i think some people think vortech's ONLY produce the wave motion and nothing else. thats just ONE function of MANY that are FULLY adjustable flow wise

I second that one mp10 will not be enough in your tank. I have a 45 cube and one of these. About to buy a 40 today and sell the 10. Let me know if you are in the market. Good luck
