depends...here in san diego - no! maroons are relatively inexpensive. if its a mated pair and you want to breed - maybe. i picked up a pair for $20 - large female and small male - mated pair. you could probably order a pair cheaper online - just my opinion :) good luck

If they are spawning pair and u want to breed them then $150 is cheap. U can find a bonded pair for $50 or less.

What's the difference between the two?

What's the difference between the two?

Spawn pair= Laid eggs already
Bonded pair= they are bond but havent spawn yet but will spawn in the future(depend on how long they been bonded)

Oh I don't know then. The guy said he has had them for a couple years. So i guess they would have spawned. But I could be wrong.

I've seen a pair of GBM go for that much at a fish store and even though the female was huge, and their pair had impeccable coloration and pattern, I still thought it was overpriced. I would go $100 tops for both if they're a really nice looking pair.

Since you're looking to buy off some guy, I would try to peg it down even further to $70-$80.

I guess I won't get them.He said 150.00 for the pair us the lowest he would go.

It's understandable how some people can get attached to their reef fish :spin1:
