Well aparently At&T are switching there routers to Cisco Linksys Routers- E1000 wireless N router- I believe they are not going to be using the 2WIRE router anymore. If someone can help would be appreciated. Running Windows 7 my port is on 80

The E1000 is very easy to set up. Use the router web page, not the Cisco Connect software.

On the Applications & Gaming->Port Range Forwarding page

Ports: 80-80
Protocol: TCP
IP Address: your Apex IP address (DHCP disabled)
Check Enabled.

On the Setup->DDNS page

Choose DynDNS.org
Put the hostname, username and password for your DynDNS.com account in the appropriate fields.
Leave the other options at default.

Test.

If that doesn't work, change the port forwarding rule to use an easily-remembered 4-digit number (>1026) instead of port 80.
Change the Apex HTTP port to that same number, and reboot the Apex

Test again.

There are multiple account types; one is free. Scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see an icon for DynDNS Free.

Ok got it- Did all steps followed- It did not work with 80 port so I switched it to 1015 port restarted my Apex and now nothing still. I also created a new account which was updated successfully with my router now I might have the Internet IP address wrong which one do I use Apex or my internet ISP it starts with 99.xx.xxx.xx?

Are you kidding me?!? Russ just helped me get my 2 wire working that replaced my Linksys 3000 when I switched from Time Warner to AT&T. Now I'm gonna have to switch back? This is getting rediculous.
