Will a Herbie style full syphon work if there are elbows in the drain to the sump? I have a basement sump that needs to be moved from underneath the tank. It will have a z shape to the plumbing to the sump. In other words, down, across with a mild slope and then down again to the sump. Overall it will be about a 20foot run with both drains. I have more than enough pump for the return, so thats not a concern there. I'm also going to use 45 deg. elbows instead of 90 deg to minimize restrictions. Any thoughts or advice?

The siphon doesn't care about bends.

basement sump and Herbie, around 20' horizontal with elbows and sweeps and no issues. My gate valve is just above the sump.
