I'm looking for a source for LEDs to convert my 240gallon reef tank over from 3 400w MH and I came across this link.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/5pcs-3W-White-HIGH-POWER-LED-Star-170LM-140-light-/110686918979?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c5745943

I was hoping someone with experience with LEDs would have an opinion weather or not these are what I'm looking for.

Thanks
Angelo

Yes they would work, are they efficient not really. In turn upfront cost you may save a little but in the long run (2 or 3 years) Cree LEDs would save you more money. With Cree LEDs you would need less than these cheaper ones. It all personal preference though. Lower quality LEDs equals more drivers, more LEDs, more electricity, and most likely more heat.
