I recently picked up 2 Tunze 6100's. They came with the 7240 driver but no controller. What else do I need to make them functional?

Did they also come with power supplies? They should be round.
If so they will work as is at a single flow speed. But a controller such as a 7095 and 7096 would give you the most flexibility in programming the speed and flow patters between the two.
For a lower cost 7092 would give you the ability to do simple back and forth alternating from a high and low speed setting.

Thank you for the info. they did come with the power supply. Can they be controlled by my apex?
I got them to use on a 280 i am setting up but then decided to go closed loop when i decided to make the tank a peninsula and didnt want the power heads on the viewable end. But now Im thinking i could use them in conjunction with the closed loop.

Yes they can be. You just need to purchase neptune's apex to stream cable
