I filled my tank ~1/2 way up with mixed salt water so that I could mix the other half in preparation for the live and dry rock I am receiving tomorrow. Is it OK to leave the saltwater sitting in the tank with no movement or heat overnight, or should I turn on a powerhead and monitor the temp? (I added my sand so I was thinking that it would also be able to settle out a little even though I will be kicking it up again with the rock tomorrow)

it definitely wouldn't hurt to run a powerhead

You can store saltwater in a sealed container indefinitely without a heater or water movement. You should aerate water that has been stored for a long time for an hour before use. Obviously heat it to your DT water temperature before using.
