I have an oceanic 58, 3ft. If I were to get a stream I would place it on the end of the overflow box, so it would have a little over 2 feet to blow(Where the two maxijets are in the pic attached). I would want the smallest controlable model. Is my tank too small?

I have done this myself but in the opposite corner of the overflow box blowing to the front opposite corner. It will be OK provided you don't have sugar sand and are primarily keeping SPS.

I still can't get my files small enough to post on reefcentral. Pics are on rag under the same name. It's ALL sps, what size is the smallest controlable stream? It's fine bahama sand about 3". Not as fine as southdown, but it blows a bit already.

You can slow the Stream down to about 800gph. The flow is very wide though and some stirring of the sand has to be expected in the opposite corner.
The smallest controllable model is 6000. You will also want the single controller 7091. A 4-6 week wait is likely.
