Deva,

Our pumps are designed to run for many years assuming that it is regularly maintained and taken good care of. Regular maintenance involves fully cleaning the wetside to assure that are parts are unobstructed and clear of any algae/calcium buildup.

I'm considering an mp10 for my nano as well. Could you expand on "many years"?

For example I have a pair of Hagen Aquaclear 800s and an Iwaki WMD20RLT all three of which have been running 24/7 since 1990. Is this the sort of many years of which you speak? If so I'm sold. Otherwise the search must continue.

Typical service rates are one to three years for part replacements. In the event that parts fail, they are easily replaceable via our online parts store or authorized retailers.
