Aquanotes Question

I downloaded Aquanotes from the Neptune Systems website, my Apex is Ethernet connected to my computer, but it says Aquacontroller not responding? I was't clear on the Aquanotes help page on what to do next?

That software is intended for the older AC series and will not operate with the Apex. There is a third-party iPhone app also called aquanotes, that will operate with the Apex.
