I have two tangs: 1 Juvenile Chocolate Tang, 1 Powder Blue Tang. Both about 4" or so.
I have been feeding Frozen Hakari Mysis Shrimp and Frozen Brine Shrimp.
They eat it like crazy, just the two of them are my only fish in the tank.
I supplement with some flake food and blood worms.
They pick at my LR and coraline on the glass, overflow, ect. all day.
So how do I get them to eat the Veggie clips? I cut the sheets into 1" strips and put them about one quarter way down into the tank. I have been putting them in before I feed them for the day. I leave it in there for an hour or so and nothing. They haven't even attempted it ?
Any suggestions?
TIA

My tang would not eat off of a clip but rather liked to chase it around the tank in the current..it would catch it rip a piece and then start all over again..give it a shot..hth

You can try rubber banding some to a small rock, this is what I did and it worked well.

Leave it in there, be patient, they will find it & devour it eventually, I leave some Nori in there all day, although it never lasts that long, sometimes they will eat a whole sheet in a day. Tangs love seaweed, they pick at it constantly, that's the idea of leaving it on a clip, so they can "graze".

Ok I started my Yellow tang and a Hippo by doing this
I used elastic bands around some love rock (a small piece you can easily remove is great) once in place I dropped some garlic feed onto it (the seachem one) and around little bits of the rock, insert and walk away from the tank. I observed from a distance and they gradually got the idea after a few hours and a couple of attempts, then after a few feedings when they wait for the rock to be put back I put it on a clip near the rock. Again after a week or so of doing that I now just put it in the tank and when they now see me remove the clip they are waiting for me to put it back in lol
Hope this helped
Peter
Edit : I see milkly beat me to it, but just adding my vote then I guess :)

You can also just cut the sheets into 1" x 1" squares and then soak them in some water before you feed them. You might want to throw in maybe 2 or 3 of these at first to see what kind of a reaction you get. They should be all over it as soon as it hits the water.
