Hi everyone. Well the new guy picked up an aipstasia infestation. Does anyone have any Berghia Nudibranch for sale/trade/whatever. It's a 36 gallon. I figure I need 3 or 4 of them. Thanks, Glenn

I have always had good luck by just adding peppermint shrimp to the tank. I would add at least three to your tank. Just make sure you have no fish that eat the shrimp.

I read that Bristle Tail file fish can also possibly do the trick.
Also, Copperband butterfly, however, because they are hard to keep, reefers generally don't recommend these guys. I also think that your 36 gallon may be too small for this fish.
So I am guessing the peppermint is the way to go or the Berghia Nudibranch. However, as with all fish and animals, even the recommended type, don't always do what you want.

I had a pretty bad aiptasia infestation and added Berghia and they eliminated my problem to the pint hat hey are all gone so need to sell trade them. I have quite a few. Only issue is that I'm in CT. Live in Trumbull, work in Stamford. If you are interested, PM me.

A Little late I know but do you still have the Berghia? I work in Rye Brook right on the New York/ CT Border. Stamford is a 10-15 minute drive from there.

I added 2 peppermint shrimp to my 55 after I noticed some aiptasia. It was all gone within 2-3 days and hasn't been back since. I don't know if they ate it all or they just keep it under control.

yeah my pep shrimp ate it all..i put 2 in my 29g they cleaned it up BUT one of mine shrimp ate corals!
I had to get rid of it...right now one of my pep shrimp is good behavior :) .
If you get pep shrimp WATCH after it ate all aiptasia you can sell it or keep it and watch it...
It like to come out at night which is hard...
