I ordered yesterday from REEF LED Lights, and with the telephone help from Bill, I am confident that my new lighting with be great. My tank is 65" long and 18" wide, by 22" tall. It is viewed on the 2 long sides and one end. That makes it a bit of a challenge to aquascape and light! It houses fish, zoo's, mushrooms, leathers, chalice, brain, and lots of rock. I have lit it with 4, 36" 50/50 VHOs and 2, 36" 50/50 T8s. There are 32 low power led moon lights. Heat build-up in the 12" high wooden hood gets the chiller running way to much in the summer.
I am scrapping that lighting for LEDs. Ordered are 2 drilled 18" heatsinks with 36 cree XP-E ( 12 premium whites 24 premium Royal Blues ) with Carclo white frosted lenses. I also added 12 High Noons to be split between the two sinks. 4 fans to keep it all cool!
I hope to get delivery next week and get building.
