Just introduced a 3-stripe damsel to my aquarium 4 days ago. I noticed a blotchy discoloration in its white areas, and a small whitish spot in the black area near its tail. All behavior is normal so far--movement, eating, breathing. Could this just be a symptom of new fish stress, or indicative of something more serious. Thanks for any opinions you might have.

damsels often come from overcrowded disease filled tanks. not to mention they are very aggressive.

Thanks for your reply. Not sure if it means anything, but my peppermint shrimp are strangely obsessed with this fish. If he gets near them, they appear to want to jump on him and start cleaning. They have never done this with _any_ of the other fish.
