Hello guys!

There are few fishes that dont need Cupramine treatment such as Green Mandrarin, or sensetive to cuparmine such as Drawf angelfish.

Im going to buy Red coris, should this fish get cupramine treatment in the Quarantine ?

Kind Regard,

Depends on what approach to disease prevention you are taking.

If you are quarantining all fish before they enter your main tank then I would proceed with copper treatment (Prophylactic - Treating to prevent).

Its a myth that mandarins cannot be hosted by parasites. The skin structure is no different, it just contains more mucous cells. Nevertheless I would take caution when using copper with mandarins above 1mg/l-1.

Copper and dwarf angels is a tricky subject. I've coppered several dwarfs without problems. Possibly another myth.

Yep thats what i mean.

But the question is not about mandarin or drawf angelfish, but about wrasse.

Im going to quaranting with blue tang together, blue tang need 0.30 of cooper but what about wrasse?
