new to the reef game

[beginner reef]

hello everybody im a beginner at the reef ecosystem. i'm really excited about getting involved. my girlfriend and i have decided to get involved. so if anybody can help i would really appriciate all the advice. I'm also from morgantown. the only questions i have right now is what type of lighting is best. i plan on going with a 150 or 210 gal tank

Hi justin that would depend one what you want to keep in the tank livestock wise. I would say a min of 4 to 5 watts a gallon. Next question would be how much do you plan to spend on a lighting system it will be somewhere between 350 to 5000 depends on how deep your tank and wallet are. T5 lights are very popular atm and a mix of metal halide and T5 or vho is my choice. If you got any other question just ask
