I would like to set up a Herbie on my 50 with corner overflow of 5" x 5". Currently I have a Hoffer on the 1" bulkhead (drilled) and my return on the 3/4" bulkhead. I would rather not redo any of the plumbing under the tank. Since there is no more room for another bulkhead on the tank bottom, can I simply drill a hole for a bulkhead at the top of my overflow chamber on the rear of the tank in order to serve as the backup drain. I have 1 " plumbing on a Sicce Syncra 3 which I have plumbed for future reactors, if that matters. Thanks!
