Hi all.

I've recently added a 6" engineer/convict goby to my reef. He mostly hangs out in a burrow he built under some of my LR (my LR is on the glass but there's enough of a "hollow" under one for him to fit nicely.

Since then, I'm finding some of my smaller emerald crabs dead on my sand bed. Coincidence, or is the goby trying to snack on them?

They're still intact. Could he be killing them and then finding he can't consume them...?

The only other recent change I've made is that I've added GAC to my sump in a filter sock 2 days ago, and I've been dosing NO3-PO4X for about 2 weeks. The crabs died last night.
