found something on my live rock

Purchased it 2 weeks ago. In one of the holes, something gray is sticking out. Looks like the hole is blowing a gray bubble. Any thoughts? would post a pic but not sure how to

Pictures are a must if you want something IDed. I upload my picture from my phone to a picture sharing site (FLICKER) then paste the URL with the "Insert Image". I just started this hobby as well and after two months, I still find new life crawling from it.

A picture is a 1000 words. But by reading your description I couldn't help but remember myself looking at this "bubble" in a hole on the live rock about a year ago, which turned out to be the tip of a peanut worm.
