Wanna make my own lighting. I have a 90g, so I think at a minimum I need 540 w's, right? Anyway, where should I go for direction...websites, threads, personal advice? Thanks guys.

The amount of lighting you would need depends on what you want to keep. I did a DIY canopy and bought everything from aquacave..they are a sponsor here. Premium aquatics is also a good vendor.

Really helpful to know what you want to keep

I would eventually like to keep SPS or atleast have the lighting readily available if I choose to increase my corals. I currently have 6x54 w's on a 90g. I am relatively handy and would dig a new project.
