I've had my little 29g BC running for about 1.5 yrs. Unfortunately, I picked the original rocks before I knew any better. I have about 25-27lbs with about 23-24lbs of those being a total of 3 fairly large pieces. Needless to say, my 'scape isn't very conducive to good coral placement.
Anyway, I just wanted to know what all would be involved if I wanted to get some new rock (smaller, more "workable" pieces)? If I let the rock cure in a separate container, could I do a complete switch-out with the new stuff? (once its cured and if the approx. weight/surface area is the same)
Would I be better off just taking my "boulders" out of my tank, trying to break them up a bit and putting them back?
I definitely don't want to crash my tank in the process, so whichever way is the least invasive would be preferable. :)
I'm open to suggestions.
