Question about dosing

Hey,
I have a tank that is reading 16ppm for nitrates with the red sea pro kit and is reading .01 for phos on a hanna checker. Im interested in starting the no3po4 x system to lower the trates. I dont have any sort of algae in the tank, but I would like my sps to have better colors and think the high trates could be part of the problem. My tank is a 58g, so it looks like my dose would be 6ml, is this the correct amount even though I have little to no phos. I dont want to strip my tank to fast.

Good morning Mike,
I would recommend you start with 2ml a day for a week, and then test.
You want to achieve a fine balance, and adding 6 ml might create a bacterial bloom.
By adding 2ml, gradually increase the dose to 6ml over 3 weeks, and following the levels you can achieve that.
