Hello,

I have a 155 gallon reef tank. I have Soft Corals, SPS, mushrooms and zoos.

Here is my water parameters:

Salinity: 1.026
KH: 9.6
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 1.0
PH: 8.4
Phosphate: 0.25
Calcium: 480
Amonia: 0

My questions is that i don't see a lot of growth of my corals...they only thing growing is my leathers!

I have the tank for over 1 year now...and some pieces still look the same.

Anything wrong with my water parameters?

Thanks!

List isnt to bad but you need to get the phosphate under control.

What do you use for water flow?

I have the regular pump from the sump plus a vortech on one side and a hydor magnum on the other side.

I also have a phospate reactor hanging at the sump.

Chemistry looks great! How is your flow? Any nuisance algae growth?

If you are speaking about SPS growth, I see the most growth when I dose amino acids. They are cheap and work wonders for coloration and growth. Your Po4 isn't that bad. I have incredible growth and good color and I imagine that my phosphate number is higher that yours. Of course, if you can you should get it to 0 but I have not seen many reefs yet where that is the case. Give the aminos a shot, you will immediately see the feeding response upon dosing. Just follow the instructions on the packaging.
