I have been stabbing aiptasia for a few weeks now and have noticed that the moment a drop of lemon juice hits the water of my tank, all of my nassarius are out looking for food. They guilt trip me into feeding them more. : ) They and some ceriths are the only inhabitants of my tank. I feed the nassarius snails every couple days a pinch of flakes right now.
Does anybody else have nassarius snails that react to lemon juice? Are mine just hungry or are nassarius snails too opportunistic to turn down a possible meal? Just an interesting observation.
