got him as a rescue 2 months ago and want to get him out of quarentine, and into my reef tank, but want to make sure hes 100% reef safe and isnt gonna mess with my corals or inverts, im no fish expert so i figured id ask and be safe rather than sorry

You are putting a tang in a 20 long?

o noes not the tang police, lol
he was rescued from the lfs where he lived in a tiny cubicle along with a bunch of damsels that beat him to dirt, he was pale white his dorsal fin was missing a huge chunk and his tail was like a tathered rag, i think the 20l is a huge step up for him till the 40b is ready in a couple months, mind u hes recovered 99% and has eaten flake and seaweed the whole time, never had ick and looks dam happy to me

Even a 40 is way too small to keep a tang happy long term.
You need to find someone with at least a 125 that can take him soon.
I applaud your rescuing him and bringing him back from the brink, but you are not equipped too keep him.
Not a member of the tang police, but tellin' it like it is.

not arguing, i know what ur saying is fact, as i know in the long run hes gonna out grow the 40, but for now hes gotta be like the size of 2 quarters next to each other or less and i think i can at least enjoy him for a little :)
