View Full Version : White tentacles on acro(s)?

Hi all,
In one of my nano tanks, I have a lot of small SPS frags that I bought online. Basically, I've started to notice something a bit odd about 3 of them. I have one acro on the sandbed (still light acclimating it as it was quite bleached/browned) and two millies that are releasing tentacles. I've searched around a bit and am not finding a whole lot of info on it except that some people have something similar happen during feeding...but it doesn't just happen when I'm feeding. It's definitely not slime or anything...it's also just in a few spots. They're not too long, but are white and end with a point. I know LPS can release sweeper tentacles, but can SPS? The weird thing is they're not even close to any other coral. My parameters are all in check and the coral is doing well...I'm even seeing some color up quite a bit. Here's a pic of the acro:

Any ideas? Should I be concerned? Thanks!
