After the announcment from GHL in Germany that the Profilux 3 upgrade kit would be discontinued, to combat this potential dissapointment leaving clients without an affordable upgrade path, we in conjunction and full support from GHL have launched the ProfiLux Controller exchange program as follows.
So here are the pricings (Price includes return shipping)
Plus II to P3 exchange cost = $449
Plus II EX to P3EX exchange cost = $549
Plus II to P3EX exchange cost = $599
Normal List price of controllers (for reference and NOT including shipping)
P3 (controller only with temp probe) = $649
P3 EX (controller only with temp probe) = $859
Exchange policy
1. Plus II or EX that is sent in for exchange must be of working order this includes probe.
2. Upon receipt by us if controller is faulty there will be a $75 fee added
3. Faulty means -
A. Does not boot up
B. Dead
C. Water damage to internal components
D. Damaged Temperature probe
4. Client responsible for all shipping costs of exchanfe unit back to us.
5. USA clients - we do not accepted brokerage charges for receipt, clear return instructions will be provided.
6. Price of upgrade includes return shipping by FedEx Ground
7. Client may pre purchace the replacement controller in advance at full list price and qualify for appropriate refund on receipt of exchange unit. This stops the need for your system to be down at any time.
8. This exchange program is only available through Aqua Digital Inc, however the refurbished units will be a dealer item.
Plus II exchange controllers -
The plus II and Plus II EX's received will be refurbished and sold within our dealer network at a low price, more details will follow a to what is included. All controllers will receive new front PCB's and come with a 6 month warranty. The temp probe will be original and cleaned/tested.
The refurbishment of the exchanged controller and subsequent resale offsets the very low price of the upgrade (we are not making any money out of this, just to be clear)
Purchasers of refurbished units are eligible to also exchange the unit after no less than 6 months, the returned controller will then be scapped for spares, and spares used to help anyone whoever breaks their controller, thus lowering the overall cost of repair of a GHL even further.
We trust this policy will become very well received and help many move forward to the latest controller available.
