Going to be 180, 40 sump. I will be running a SRO 3000. These are ideas, not for sure ...
Small Blue Hippo Tang
Blue Powder Tang
Salfin OR Orange Shoulder Tang
2 Snowcasso Clownfish
3 Bengaii Cardinals
Maybe 3-5 Blue Green Chromis
2 Gobies ( probably Diamond )
Possibly my coral beauty ( He hasn't nipped coral for 2 years )
And MAYBE a Helfrichi Firefish
Out of this list ... how many could I keep ? I know thats about 15 fish, but Since the chromes and cardinals don't have big bioload , and and small , do they matter ?

Small Blue Hippo Tang - Will outgrow your tank
Blue Powder Tang - Should be OK but will limit the tank mate choices
Salfin OR Orange Shoulder Tang - Will outgrow your tank
2 Snowcasso Clownfish - OK
3 Bengaii Cardinals - Either 1 or a pair. The odd man out will be killed, or worse, you could get 3 males and end up with 1 anyway!
Maybe 3-5 Blue Green Chromis - Very few success stories with keeping more than 1-2 chromis, they tend to kill each other off
2 Gobies ( probably Diamond ) - If you can't get your hands on a pair, I would only get 1 as they too will kill each other. Also, do you have experience with sand sifters? They come with .... challenges.
My coral beauty ( He hasn't nipped coral for 2 years ) - OK
Helfrichi Firefish - Bad choice IMO if you want to keep a powder blue tang. These guys like other dartfish are timid and do not appreciate extremely active and/or aggressive tankmates.

I have had a sleeper goby and diamond. They both jumped out ! I will have a canopy over this one though !

helfrichis will be OK. they can actually be quite crafty with aggressive fish in the tanks. Pick one tang only! 180 is a bigger tank, but gets small quick!

I agree. I would try the Helfrichi, however.
