This last weekend was our regional show (Mountain West Reef Fest). At the show there was a Reefscaping competition. The competition was sponsored by a local shop as well as Cerameco. Caribsea also contributed (I think). I have only been in the reef scene for 5-6 months, but was invited to be one of the 10 competitors in the competition. I had a lot of fun and thought you guys in the nano forum may enjoy seeing some of these nano scapes produced at the show! Oh and the contest was judged by Scott Fellman.

The only rule was we had to use a 10 Gallon aquarium.

Hopefully the other 5 get posted today so I can show you the rest. Let me know what you guys think, though I know it is really hard to tell how they look given the lighting and angles.

Scott sent me a few pics of the different rock work, he said it was pretty awesome.

^well that is a nice compliment from him to all of the competitors. I was really surprised at how good a lot of it looked. 10 gallons is really hard, but now I want to try 5 :)

I'm curious to know which design won. My favorite was the third pic you posted with the "rose" off to the left.

Sorry, I never saw your response. The second to the bottom won.
