Ive seen pvc ball valves at lowes but no gate valves. Will home depot or menards have more of a selection or is there a store on the net where most buy their plumbing supplies?

I get mine from OSH but I believe they are west coast chain. Marine Depot or bulk reef supply have some.

Lowes carries gate valves but they are brass. The plumbing guy said brass would be ok for salt applications but I don't think he's right? Brass is made from copper and copper kills. Leaching would happen right! Anybody?

Flexpvc.com or Savco are also good places.

I have seen PVC gate valves at some of my local ACE Hardware stores but MarinDepot carries them online too.

+1 for SAVKO. Great customer service and tons of PVC supplies.

Thanks, Steve

Do a google search for all the plumbing supply houses in your area and start calling, even the old out of the way ones. Thats what i did and found them cheaper than any of the online sites
