I like the test kit very much, but the plastic on 2 of the 3 syringe tips has split, and they are not usable.

Is there a way to get replacements?

so I got the reef 3 in 1 test kid ,, all i can say is Ehh, not that thrilled with it, i will give you cudos on the alk test not using regents is nice but i found all the test quite a bit off when compared to salifet and elos, so to me that's a big deal when a test kit is off by 20% on the average. the other big problem i have with it is my brain had a hard time getting used to reading the test while all other tests are read by how much titrant is left in the seringe red sea is by how much was used, not a big deal but i dont like it, kinda not happy i spent $50 on a kit that will go in to the trash, well as with most read sea products this one is not worth much, and def not for serious SPS reefers. on a 1 to 10 this is a 3

Hello,
I'm sorry for your inconvenience.
When titrating you always calculate the concentration by the amount of titrant used, this is the scientific way to do it.
We at Red Sea took the hobby one step closer to the "lab. world", in order to make the hobby more professional, get better accuracy and satisfaction.
At the end of the day, the more accurate you get the better the tank looks.

My suggestion is not to compare one test kit to the other.
Trust no one but yourself, get or make yourself a standard solution, and test all kits against it.
It’s easier to say which one is off and by how much, when you have a reliable and accurate reference .

I made quite a few standards and reference solution, and tested our entire line of test kits numerous times.
I have a full confidence in the kits, not because someone told me so, but because I have seen it with my own eyes.

Like any new innovative product, it takes time to get used to.
It’s a tool, and once you mastered this tool, it would become more natural and easy to use.

I’ll be more than happy to assist you with any question about the kits.
There are short videos of each and every test that might assist you.
If there is anything I can help you with, just ask.
All the best,
Aviad

Here's my 2 cents on the deal:
I have been in this hobby for close to 30 years. When Salifert test kits finally came out I was estatic! Finally test kits you could read and understand!
I just purchased the RedSea Pro Reef Foundation test kit and love it! It does indeed take time to get used to it.
I will say thought they are deadly consistent!!!! A few things I have noted on the calcium test kit thats quite interesting.
At 380-390 with my Salifert kit, my pink lemonade SPS coral stops polyp extension. I noticed that my Red Sea Pro Test kit reads 10-20 ppm less then the Salifert on every test. This tells me 2 things:
This is a safe gaurd for me with my calcium testing! As the Red Sea will force me to add more calcium. It may also be more accurate then the Salifert. I am starting to think it is.
I run a ULNS tank and the corals get very touchy to changes in the water chemistry. This test will keep me more in the correct range for calcium.
I run my KH in the 7 range. The Salifert reads a bit higher then the Red Sea Pro. Again, it seems to be MORE accurate then the Salifert KH test kit.
Directions need to be followed exactly for these kits to perform correctly. The red Sea Pro kits are built hands down better then the Salifert. Actually, there is no comparison! Also, buying refills will save you money! You get alot more for your money with the RedSea kits. Practice getting used to them. The more I use them the more I realize how good they are! And Red Sea's customer suppot blows away Salifert's near Non-existent customer support.
Thanks!

I have been using the Red Sea Foundation Pro test kit for about four months and really like the product. The kits are very easy to use and the change in the end point is easy to detect. I like my experience with the Foundation kit so much, I bought the Algae Manangement kit and have used it twice. I really like the color wheel concept with the control sample vial to compare actual water samples with the test result. Great idea.

I mainly bought the Algae kit to get the Nitrate test, but compared the Phosphate result to my Hanna and it read the same results.
