I received a couple of corals today from a local hobbyist getting out. He said he has had the Duncan and Elegance for over a year and the others for 2 years.

I have done research on the Elegance and have conflicting reports. Should the Elegance be in the sand or is it fine where I have it. It has only been in the tank a couple of hours.

I asked about the clam and he was unsure what type of clam it is. Could someone please let me know and should it be on the rocks or in the sand. He had it in the sand.

I also received a Brain, Acan, a Duncan with about 15 heads, Frogspawn, Superman Mushrooms, Blue Mushrooms, Royal Gramma, Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, and Peppermint Shrimp.

Thanks for any information

clam is a squamosa they are usually found in the sand but if it can open and is happy up on the rocks that's OK. What are your lights? the brains don't need much.
