So recently I noticed my ~4 year old rhizo was not sticky. I thought ok that's weird but probably a fluke. A few days later it is still not sticky and it looks like it is receding a bit around the edges. I have not changed anything basically since I got it. Same food, same spot in the tank, same params (improving if anything)... I don't get why it's having a hard time! My other rhizo right next to it is seemingly fine.

Advice?

That sucks man. Do you have another tank you could try relocating it to? If it is a disease, it would probably be best to relocate to avoid spreading to the other rhizo.

No, the only other tank I have that I could put it in is fighting cyan right now. Not the best place for a possibly receding coral. I don't think it is a disease. I mean first of all they are right next to each other (touching) so they would probably both have the disease if there was one and also the other one is fine. IDK this is weird.
