I have an in wall 125 gallon 72" long. I have 4 MP40 pumps, looking for advice on placement. The first pic is of the end of the tank, notice that the rocks are a couple of inches from the back glass. It's a rock wall held together with CPVC. The second pic. Is a full front shot. Is 4 pumps overkill. Where would you suggest I put them, maybe only use 3 one on the back, or 2 on the back.
Or should I sell two of them and get an MP10 or two.

I put one on each side, set them to run FULL BLAST in the long interval mode. Almost works like a surge device. I love it.

I've tried random modes and reefcrest, and the ecosmart modes, nutrient transport. I like this one the best.

I also run mp10w on the back wall sync'd with the opposite side's mp40.

while 4 mp40s could be run without problems, i personally would have a slight issue buying $400 pumps and running them less than 1/2 power.

Do you run in sync or anti sync mode?

I see you can only run in sync mode when on long pulse.
