I've got a 145G (70x20x24D) peninsula, canopy top 10" above water and with overflows at each effective length is about 56". Since viewable from both sides, LR is down the middle.
If I mount with the modules with 3" clearance to the top as suggested by the instructions, bottom of the modules are only 5" from the water and if I'm reading AI's chart (http://support.aquaillumination.com/entries/459049-tank-recommendations) correctly because of clearance I'm forced to 4 modules.
Trying to get an idea of the light spread with the AI SOL Blue. Currently running 250W MH DE and getting by with 2 PFO pendants. Wondering if I could get by with 3 or ideally 2 AI modules?
